Accelerated Freefall Courses
AFF is a multi levelled (8 jump) intensive course with 2
on 1 and 1 on 1 instruction. We will guide you through a safe, educational and
responsible training programme that is designed to take you from complete
beginner to (A) licence parachutist and beyond. This course is intense and
demanding, come prepared to learn and work.
If you are keen and committed to learning how to skydive
then AFF with
Adrenaline Adventures
is the only course to consider. We guarantee that you'll have the same
instructor to ensure continuity and after each jump your instructor will
fully debrief on your jump. You will be amazed at the instructor /
student bond that’s so important within our sport. All of your
jumps are filmed free of charge, using instructor
sidecam video, and we will teach you how to pack your parachute. We are an AFF
school like no other and are dedicated to your learning. Remember, always
book with a reputable British Parachute Association approved school, as this
will ensure quality and safety.
Level 1 - Ground School and first jump
course

Your ground school will last a minimum of eight
hours or
as long as is necessary to enable you to achieve a good performance. You
will be briefed in all elements of skydiving including knowing your surroundings,
equipment, stability, canopy piloting, airmanship, landings and emergency
procedures.
After ground school is over your first
skydive is from 12,000 feet with 2 instructors, where you conolidate what you
have learned by carrying out the following procedure. Awareness of heading,
altimeter and instructors, Coordinated body movements from free arm to practice
pull’s, actual ripcord pull, at required altitude

Consolidation Jumps - NOW SOLO!
|
|
You now must complete 10 consolidation jumps refreshing
the skills learnt during your course. Once the 10 consol jumps have been
completed you are required to do a Qualifying jump.

Congrats! You may now complete BPA licence form and
apply for your parachutists licence.

instruction to take you to BPA qualification FS1 and beyond. Please feel free
to discuss this with your instructor at the end of your AFF course.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE

The minimum age
to parachute is 16 (parental consent is required if under 18 years of age)

There is no upper
age limit in respect of tandem skydiving.

If you are aged
40 or over you will need your GP to complete the
Declaration of fitness to parachute form.

All other age
groups need only sign the self-declaration part of the form on the day.

For reasons of
safety and equipment compatibility we are unable to accept any persons over 14
stone (187 Kilo) fully clothed.
