Q: What is the minimum age to jump in the UK
A: 16 with parental consent
Q: I am disabled can I jump
A: In most cases yes, but only Tandem. Please call our staff
for advice.
Q: Would my jump go ahead if there is a bad weather forecast:
A: Your jump may be rescheduled.
Q: What happens on the day that we arrive and weather turns
bad:
A: Whilst every effort will be made to get you jumped we may
need to reschedule your jump.
Q: What about my Ground
School:
A: Ground School goes ahead regardless of weather.
Q: Are you a member of a governing
body:
A: Yes. The British Parachute Association
and The Federation Aeronautique International.
Q: Are my instructors
qualified:
A: Yes. All instructors are British
Parachute Association Approved Instructors.
Q: Have many jumps have your instructors
made:
A: All instructors who work with adrenaline
adventures have made a minimum of 1000 jumps
Q: Am I insured
A: Yes. Third party Insurance only as
standard with your provisional or full membership fee.
Q: What should I wear for my Ground School
Training:
A: A tracksuit and trainers or similar
sports clothing.
Q: What should I wear for my Jump:
A: As above, we will also provide jumpsuits,
protective headgear goggles and gloves
Q: I wear glasses or contact lenses can I
still wear them:
A: Yes. We will give you appropriate
goggles.
Q: Can I jump and raise money for a charity
at the same time:
A: Yes. Contact our office staff for full
details.
Q: Is there accommodation at the Parachute
centre:
A: Most centres offer bunk house facilities.
A local B & B list can be provided upon request.
